Many students learn the basics during the school year but rarely get the time to practice challenging problems in a low-stress environment. Our camp:

• Reinforces core skills in Algebra and Geometry with carefully scaffolded examples.
• Helps students close gaps from previous years before concepts become harder.

Preparation for Advanced Classes

For students planning to take Honors or Accelerated math, this camp acts as a bridge:

• Preview key ideas from advanced middle school and early high-school courses.
• Practice multi-step problems that require combining several algebra and geometry ideas.
• Develop mathematical communication—explaining reasoning clearly and logically.

Foundation for Math Competitions

Sessions include activities and problems inspired by contests such as AMC 8/10 and MathCounts:

• Students learn common contest strategies and shortcuts (factoring, pattern-spotting, estimation).
• We emphasize number sense and flexible thinking rather than memorizing formulas.
• Problem sets gradually increase in difficulty so students build confidence as they progress.
